CARE
Care
Most treatment addresses what shows up. This work finds what’s driving it.
Your body adapts to everything life puts on it — injuries, surgeries, illnesses, stress, the way you sit and move and sleep. It compensates to keep you functioning. Over time those compensations accumulate, and symptoms appear that don’t seem connected to anything.
Finding the actual driver takes two things most care doesn’t combine: hands precise enough to detect what’s there, and reasoning that spans every system at once.
INTEGRATIVE MANUAL PHYSICAL THERAPY
What Integrative Manual Physical Therapy is
Integrative Manual Physical Therapy addresses the structural and functional health of the whole person. It combines in-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology, the relationships between systems, and an understanding of how trauma leaves compensations behind — with precise hands-on skill to identify and restore the mobility of joints, fascia, bones, muscles, organs, blood vessels, lymph vessels, and nerves, and reintegrate them into the functioning whole.
We equate the abilities of our hands to the palate of a sommelier. Precisely trained hands can feel through layers of tissue to identify dysfunction — including the areas under the greatest strain, which are often not where you feel pain. When those primary areas are found and addressed, the rest of the body responds.
How this differs from traditional physical therapy
I was a traditional physical therapist. I became frustrated with the results I was getting from stretching, strengthening, and imprecise manual work. Chasing pain wasn’t improving anyone’s body.
Most physical therapy today is still pain-chasing and exercise. Some patients do well in that model. Many need more precise problem-solving and restorative hands-on care.

Why hands alone aren’t enough
Even the best treatment falls short if what happens at home isn’t supporting it. Patients plateau — not because the treatment stopped working, but because inflammation, nervous system strain, or daily habits keep pulling them back.
What I’ve learned over twenty-six years is that I can restore something on the table, and if nothing changes at home, it doesn’t hold. You come back and I’m treating the same thing again. And again. That’s not a good use of your money or my hands.
Functional medicine provides the framework for finding those drivers: inflammation and cellular health, nutrient adequacy, toxin exposure, sleep, stress and its effect on the nervous system, gut health, movement, and relationships. Chronic conditions develop over time through the accumulation of genetics and lifestyle, and that combination is unique to every person.
For patients with chronic pain, chronic injury, and complex health issues — which is most of my practice — addressing inflammation and cellular health determines whether the manual work holds.
Who this is for
People who’ve been told their labs are normal, their scans are clean, and they should try managing stress.
Chronic pain that moved, came back, or never had a clear cause. Fatigue, brain fog, or gut symptoms that no one connected to each other. Concussion or injury where the imaging healed but function didn’t. Autoimmune conditions, headaches, TMJ, pelvic pain. Symptoms that started after a surgery, a pregnancy, a fall, or a period of prolonged stress.
And people ready to do the work outside the clinic — because that’s most of it.
How care works here
Restoration isn’t one visit. Your body took years to get where it is, and problem-solving it takes more than a single appointment.
Care begins with:
90-minute evaluation — full history, whole-body structural assessment, and my analysis of what’s actually driving your symptoms. This is where the multiple whys get found.
The Foundations for Functional Health — three parts: nervous system, inflammation, and structural health. Required for every patient, because I can’t lower your inflammation for you, regulate your nervous system for you, or exercise for you.
Six visits — weekly at first, then every other week, then a month out as your body consolidates.

Continued care after that is per visit, based on what you need.
The goal is to need me less.
Care starts weekly and spaces out as your body holds the changes — every other week, then monthly, then as needed. Most patients end up checking in once or twice a year.
That’s the point. This isn’t a model built on seeing you twice a week forever.
THE FOUNDATIONS FOR FUNCTIONAL HEALTH
The Foundations for Functional Health
One program. Three parts. All three required.
Your body doesn’t heal in pieces. Inflammation, nervous system regulation, and structural health affect each other constantly — which is why addressing one without the others doesn’t hold.
1 · The Inner Wiring Workshop Nervous system · 10 daily lessons
Your nervous system controls pain perception, digestion, sleep, immune function, and healing. When it’s stuck in survival mode, your body spends its resources on threat instead of repair. This teaches you to recognize when that’s happening and how to shift it.
2 · The Power of Food Inflammation and cellular health · 7 weeks
Chronic inflammation drives most persistent symptoms. This is about identifying your own triggers — food, sleep, stress, environment — and reducing them systematically. Not a diet. A method for figuring out what your body specifically responds to.
3 · The Engage Method Structural health · 3 weeks
Restoring real mobility and strength in the right sequence, so your body moves the way it was built to. This is the work that makes hands-on treatment hold.
8–12 weeks total, self-paced, done at home — which is where this work has to happen anyway.
Most people know the categories: eat better, move more, manage stress. Very few have been shown what that means specifically for their body, in the right order. This isn’t more to do. It’s the right things, in sequence, prioritized to you.

What this requires of you
I am not a fixer.
I can find what’s driving your symptoms and restore what’s been lost structurally. I can’t lower your inflammation for you, I can’t regulate your nervous system for you, and I can’t exercise for you.
Ninety percent of your healing happens outside this clinic.
Patients who do this work need fewer visits and get results that last. Patients who skip it plateau.
If you’re looking for someone to fix this for you, I’m not the right provider. If you’re ready to change how you live, this works.
FAQ
Do you take insurance?
How long is the wait for new patients? Currently 8–10 weeks.
Do I have to complete Foundations before my first visit? You’ll get access the day you enroll, and I recommend starting immediately. Most patients complete it during the wait for their evaluation, which means we get further in our first session together.
What if I need more than six visits? Most people do continue. Visits after the first six are billed individually at $265, scheduled at whatever interval you need. Nothing expires and nothing goes unused.
What if I’m already fairly healthy? Most people find real gaps once they look closely. The program meets you at your starting point.
Can I do this if I don’t live in Ohio? Patients travel here from around the country. Foundations should be complete before you book travel, and remote follow-up is available afterward.
Do you order labs?
